To the Editor:

There is an old saying, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it."

As far as I know our only stoplight isn't broke.

I sometimes go out of my way to access Main Street because there is a stoplight at Freeborn and Main.

Who is leading the drive to have a working light destroyed? And for what reason — increased speed on Main Street?

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Marion Warriors track and field team, we would like to thank the parents, students, faculty members, boosters, and community members who came to Wichita for the state track meet and supported the efforts of our track and field team.

To hear the cheering from the large Marion contingent and to see that group standing and encouraging us on to great performances was unbelievably inspiring.

You helped us to our best finish in more than 30 years and are a huge part of our program.

From being involved in hosting the best track meets in the state to cheering us on through our events, we would just like to say thanks for such wonderful support.
