Local couple to mark 62nd year years ago
Bob and Gertrude Ray of Marion will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary Aug. 7.
The couple was married Aug. 7, 1944, in Sedan. They lived most of their married lives as farmers at Piedmont. They moved to Marion 20 years ago.
They have two daughters, Vicki Jackson and Cheryl Ray of Marion; three grandchildren, Jeff Jackson, Atlanta, Ga., Robb Hartley and Vicki Williams both of Marion; and four great-grandchildren.
