Lois Raleigh
Lois Jeanne Raleigh, 80, died Nov. 6, 2006, at Marion.
Born Jan. 29, 1926, she was the daughter of Earl and Blanche Kelsey.
On March 31, 1942, she married William Hurshel Raleigh at Newton.
She retired after 17 years as an employee of A.L. Duckwall stores and was a member of Marion Christian Church, CWF, and the VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Terry Raleigh; two sisters, Earline Allen and Frances Helmer; and two brothers, Donald Kelsey and Wayne Kelsey.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Mary Raleigh of Marion; daughter-in-law, Winona Raleigh of Wichita; sister and husband, Treva and Jack Kerbs of Marion; two brothers and their wives, Forrest and Bea Kelsey of Marion and Keith and Clara Kelsey of Dewey, Okla.; two sisters-in-law, Viola Kelsey of Marion and Elsie Kelsey of Holton; brother-in-law, Daniel Helmer of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial funds have been established with Marion Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
