Steve Katz, five friends, Adella Katzh, and Selma Ingram watched the KU-Iowa basketball game on TV Jan. 13 at the home of Adella Katz.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu drove to Abilene Saturday to watch their grandson, Jakob Hanschu of Hillsboro, wrestle at Abilene High School. Jakob's parents, Jayson and Jan Hanschu, also were there.

After attending Mass Jan. 14 at Pilsen, Bob Reznicek was a dinner guest of Bob and Carol Makovec at the Ramona Café

Adella Katz, who works at Parkside in Hillsboro, left home for work Sunday afternoon. She ran into icy roads between Marion and Hillsboro and made it to the home of her daughter, Lori and Charles Smithhart. She went to work at 2 a.m. Monday.

Neighbors said they had a lot of sleet Sunday morning. I didn't have any. I took care of my cattle and fed my cats. By Sunday afternoon, the cattle had icicles on their backs. They stood out in the open under the trees. Larry Rudolph said his cattle did the same.

Frances Stuchlik accompanied Lucille Bernhardt to Lincolnville Jan. 10 where they attended dinner and meeting at the senior center. Frances was Lucille's guest.

Selma Ingram visited Jane Miller this past week.

Larry Rudolph visited Ted Doman at Herington Jan. 16.
