Alex and Jean Stuchlik attended the 50th wedding anniversary celebration in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dillon Feb. 17 at the Herington Community Building.

Oaklan and Tia Jenkins were Feb. 18 guests of their grandmother, Selma Ingram.

Someone set Leland Bernhardt's bales on fire Feb. 11. The bales were located a couple of miles from my place.

I received a telephone call Feb. 18 from my cousin, Elton and Shirley Phye of Canon City, Colo.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu hosted a birthday party Feb. 18 for Fred Utech, Jennifer Braden, and Jayson Hanschu. Those attending included Fred and Marguerite Utech, Jayson and Jan Hanschu, Jakob, Jorge, and Jaxxson, Jeff and Jennifer Braden and Joshua, Neil and Jolene Albrecht, Kelly and Morgan, and the hostesses, Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu. They lighted candles on three cakes and ate them with ice cream.

Paul and Raelene Hajek visited mom, Mildred Hajek, Feb. 20.

Larry Rudolph drove to Herington Saturday evening and visited his sister, Mary Helen Black and did some shopping.

Fred and Marguerite Utech accompanied Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu to Southeast of Saline to watch Kelly Albrecht's dance recital during halftime of the girls' basketball game.

John and Helen Reznicek of Marion, Bob and Carol Makovec, Charles and Mary Loewen of Hillsboro, and Bob Reznicek had supper Feb. 14 at the Pizza Hut. They visited Irma Reznicek and celebrated Mary's birthday. They ate cake and ice cream.
