Mike and Karen Walsh and Renee hosted an Easter Sunday dinner. Guests were Paul and Kimberly Garrett and Alexander of Wichita and Larry Rudolph.

Douglas Strecker of Hesston picked me up April 7 and took me to his home where he, Marsha, Brian, and Matthew served a pre-Easter pasta dinner to Sonya Strecker, Christopher and Jeri Strecker, Alexia, Autumn, and Junior, Yancy and Julie Strecker and Gabriel, Amber and Madison Hershberger, and Evelyn Strecker. Douglas hid the plastic eggs in the yard. Their grandchildren had lots of fun looking for them after dinner. They also received baskets filled with candy and toys. Douglas and Marsha brought me home that evening, then went to Ramona to visit her parents, Reign and Marlene Anduss.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu fixed a roast Easter Sunday and took it over to her folks, Fred and Marguerite Utech.

Larry and Connie Jenkins, Oaklan and Tia hosted an Easter Sunday dinner. Guests were Charles and Lori Smithhart, Selma Ingram, Adella Katz, and Steve Katz.

Robert and Debbie Burns and family, Chris and Melissa Stuchlik and boys, and Marcel and Mary Jane Steiner were Easter Sunday dinner guests of Alex and Jean Stuchlik. The grandchildren colored eggs.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu attended Maundy Thursday services at St. John Lutheran Church, Tampa.

Lowell Strecker of San Antonio, Texas, called me Easter Sunday afternoon. He couldn't believe we had three or four inches of snow Thursday. I wonder what survived the four morning freezes. I had never seen leaves on trees frozen before. Here we are to have snow in Kansas again this week. My yard has never dried from all the rain we have had. Larry Rudolph said he saw two big does on his yard last night.

Junior and Jeanetta Hanschu attended Good Friday services at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona.

Alecia Stuchlik stopped in to visit her grandmother, Frances Stuchlik Thursday. She was on her way to Towanda to the home of her parents, Kenny and Melinda Stuchlik.

Danny Stuchlik visited his grandmother, Frances Stuchlik Friday night. Kenny Stuchlik and Patrick visited Frances Stuchlik Monday.

John Reznicek picked up his mother, Irma Reznicek and took her to Easter Sunday services at St. Mark Catholic Church, Marion. Bob Reznicek also went.

Bob and Carol Makovec hosted Easter Sunday dinner. Guests were John and Helen Reznicek, Irma Reznicek, Tom Reznicek, Ed and Mary Reznicek, Ella and Evan, Kenneth and Debbie Reznicek, Sara, Kary, and Nicholas, Charles and Mary Loewen, Josie Loewen, Jeremy and Dionne Loewen, John and Lori Torline, Jennifer, Megan, Caroly, and Matthew, Darren and Amy Makovec, Dana, Ellie and Shelby, Justin and Jenni Makovec and Addie, Ryan Makovec and Dani Heitfield, Randy and Colleen Klug, Alison and Nicole, Troy and Robyn Heitfield, Drake, Taylor, and Maddie, Jennifer Makovec, and Bob Reznicek. The children hunted for Easter eggs filled with candy.

Easter Sunday dinner guests of Dr. Bob and Hallie Novak were Norman and Mary Alice Schlesener, George and Corkie Dunlap, Bill and Dollye Novak, Mike and Jo Smith and Hollie, and Robyn Pervin.

Tampa American Legion will sponsor a polka dance from 2 to 5 p.m. April 29 at the Pilsen Community Center.

Ronnie and Leona Hajek picked up Mildred Hajek Easter Sunday and they went to Bernie and Janice Waner's for dinner.

Raelene Hajek and Jason and Carla Hajek and Cooper were Easter weekend guests of Jon and Lynette McClean, Cade, Maggie, and Josie.

Betty Stenzel and Greg Stenzel and Nikki took pizza to Helen Chill's home Good Friday. Additional guests were Mabel Zimmerman and Kristina Cruse of Wylie, Texas.

Betty Stenzel's Easter Sunday dinner guest was Greg Stenzel. Nikki Stenzel was an additional supper guest.

Brett Hajek and Jennifer Millie, Darren Hajek, and Trent Hajek spent Easter weekend with their parents, Ronnie and Leona Hajek.
