Wow! Seven inches of rain May 6. I have some water in my cellar. On May 8, I went to Herington to wash some clothes and shop. I hung my clothes on the line. Perfect weather for drying. I check my garden. The vegetables I planted April 3 were up and some of my tomatoes are blooming. I was able to buy some sweet potato plants and I plan to plant them as soon as the garden dries enough. Our sympathy to the people who suffered losses due to tornadoes and floods.
