Oaklan and Tia Jenkins were overnight guests July 14 of their grandmother, Selma Ingram.

On Thursday night I received one and one-half inches of rain and a lot of hail. The golf ball size hail knocked a lot of leaves off my maple and walnut trees. It also damaged my cantaloupe, cucumber, and tomato plants, and knocked peaches off trees. I was happy the large hail did not break any windows.

Frances Stuchlik accompanied her daughter, Ramona Beisel of Tampa, July 15 to Salina for business and pleasure.

On July 14, Bob Reznicek and Irma Reznicek visited Bob and Carol Makovec and their guests Brandon and Kristen Makovec and Andrew and Alecia of California.

Terry and Grace Stuchlik and Katie and Peter of Emporia visited their mother, Frances Stuchlik, all day July 17.

Irma Reznicek and Bob Reznicek enjoyed a spaghetti dinner after Mass July 16 at St. John Nep. Catholic Church, Pilsen. St. Anne's Altar Society served the meal.
