Lottie Hoffman

Lottie G. Hoffman, 95, died Nov. 11, 2005, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.

Born Sept. 29, 1910, three miles east of Florence, she was the daughter of Charles and Tiney Fisher.

On Nov. 8, 1933, she married Clyde Hoffman. He died in 1976.

She lived on a farm east of Marion, moving to town in 1973. She was a cook at the Orville Miesse sale barn and worked for Frank Hollar Produce. She also was a cook at the Elgin Hotel, Spain Nursing Home, and senior center.

She was a member of Marion Christian Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Ruth Ann Hoffman; parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Ken Hoffman of Florence and Robert Hoffman of El Reno, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Marion Christian Church with the Rev. Carl Helm officiating.

Burial was in Grant Township Cemetery, rural Marion.

A memorial fund has been established with St. Luke Living Center, Marion.
