Lula Holt
Lula Holt, 101, died July 10, 2004, at St. Luke Living Center.
Born Feb. 24, 1903, in Thornfield, Mo., she was the daughter of Charlie and Lillie Murl Looney.
On Jan. 23, 1943, she married Leo Holt. He died in 1965. She also was preceded in death by three daughters.
In 1956 she moved from Wichita to Florence, where she remained until moving to St. Luke Living Center.
Survivors include nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Highland Cemetery, Iola, with Pastor Larry Timm officiating.
Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
A memorial fund was established with St. Luke Living Center.
