Lydia Pankratz
Lydia Pankratz, 82, died March 17, 2006, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born May 4, 1923, in Germany, she was the daughter of Jacob and Lydia (Ostwalt) Meier.
On Jan. 19, 1951, she married Elmer Pankratz at Marion. He died in 1999.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Cooperative Grain & Supply, Hillsboro.
She was a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro.
Survivors include two sons, Larry and Janice Pankratz of Salina and Mark Pankratz of Hillsboro; daughter, Linda and the Rev. Dan Wiese of John Day, Ore.; sister, Ella Swain of Marion; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.
Burial was in Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro.
