LETTERS:   Made in USA is worth it years ago

To the Editor:

Americans can do their part to keep production strong in the United States.

I have been looking and looking for loppers made in the USA.

Jim and I stopped at Seacats in Marion. None were on display, but Dan Holub said "wait a minute, don't give up." He went to the computer, scrolled through several pages until he found made-in-USA bypass loppers with hickory handles. Our search was over, thanks to Dan Holub. Until then I had not thought to ask if what I wanted, made-in-USA, could be ordered.

You may have to pay more for "made-in-USA," but, because it is better made, it will last longer and in the end, be cheaper.
