Many enjoy home tours
More than 200 people toured homes Sunday during the Christmas Home Tours.
Homes were decorated in a variety of styles — traditional to Victorian to 1950s.
Janet Marler, librarian of Marion City Library and event organizer, said it was about the same number as last year.
Homes on the tour were Todd and Vicki Guetersloh at 115 N. Fourth, Amy Rasmussen at 318 N. Cedar, Gerald and Jan Wiens at 1023 Welch, and Bill and Mickey Lundy at 204 N. Lincoln.
The library offered refreshments during the tour.
Proceeds from the tour will be used to purchase materials for the library, Marler said.
