Marie Wiens
Marie Wiens, 91, died Oct. 25, 2004, at Hillsboro.
Born Nov. 29, 1912, at Inman, she was the daughter of Jacob and Aganetha (Wiens) Harder.
On June 4, 1938, she married Peter J. Wiens at Minneapolis, Minn. He died in 1981.
A pastor's wife, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Durham.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Eugene Wiens.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Connie Wiens of Hillsboro, Robert and Mary Wiens of Sioux Falls, S.D., and James and Debbie Wiens of Troy, Ill.; a daughter, Marilyn Sween of Millersburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Durham with Curtis Wiens, Robert Wiens, and James Wiens officiating.
Burial in Durham Baptist Cemetery will precede the service at 10 a.m.
