Marion Assisted Living: Love is in the air; king and queen chosen
By JENNIFER GAINES
Feb. 12-16
This week has been full of activities as we prepared for Valentine's Day.
The group frosted and decorated heart-shaped cookies for fifth graders who gave us a lunch time serenade.
The week prior to Valentine's Day, all the residents and staff voted for a king and queen. At our party, Vernon Vogel and Leona Meisinger were presented crowns and long-stemmed roses to celebrate their moment as royalty.
Dick Pracht led residents Wednesday in a Bible study and time of singing.
Of course bingo always is a highlight and enjoyed twice a week.
We hope each of you had a little extra love and attention to celebrate your Valentine's Day.
