Marion Country Club hosts golf tournament
Marion Country Club hosted the club championship tournament Saturday and Sunday.
Golfers played 18 holes Saturday and 18 holes Sunday and the championship was decided on the 36-hole total.
Judy Noller won the women's championship with a score of 163. She also won the women's handicap championship with a net score of 147.6.
In men's competition, Bryan Hess won with a score of 146. Tim Young was second with 147. The Hetts took third, fourth, and fifth, with Aaron taking third with a score of 151, Travis shooting a 153 for fourth, and Nickolas taking fifth with a 154. Tod Gordon and Stu Meador tied for sixth, with scores of 161.
In senior men's competition, Jeff Goering won with a score of 162. Jerry Smith was second with 163 and Roger Hannaford was third with 164. Smith also won the men's handicap championship with a net score of 141.
