Marion Country Club tournaments highlight weekend

Marion Country Club played host to two tournaments this past week.

A senior tournament involving 37 golfers took place July 12.

The club's 14th annual couple's invitational was Sunday, and 18 teams participated in that event.

Social hour followed the couple's tournament, which included golfers from Derby, Emporia, Halstead, Hutchinson, Marion, McPherson, Newton, Salina, Silver Lake, Topeka, and Wichita.
