Marion/Florence FFA competes in state events
Members of the Marion/Florence FFA chapter competed April 29 in the state FFA chapter development events hosted by Kansas State University, Manhattan.
Marion's agriculture technology management team placed fifth overall. Hank Collett placed third individually with Riley Ross placing 18th. Zan Fine was the other team member.
The dairy cattle team of Mark Kukuk, Sam Ehrlich, Eric Vogel, and Mason Kukuk placed 13th in the state competition with Mark Kukuk and Ehrlich placing in the silver division individually.
Mark Kukuk, Mason Kukuk, and Adam Hett competed in the state meat evaluation event.
Sam Ehrlich, Gabe Moore, and Ryan Jones also competed in the state entomology event.
