Marion-Florence FFA members attend conference
Freshmen members of the Marion/Florence FFA chapter attended the South Central District FFA Greenhand conference Monday in Wellington.
The theme of the conference was "An Island Getaway" and featured leadership workshops conducted by the south central district FFA officers, state FFA president Shawn Turner, and state reporter Avery Land.
Other activities for the first-year members included a FFA information test where the top 10 individuals were recognized.
Gabe Moore placed fourth overall in the information test.
Other students from Marion attending the conference included Frankie Clark, Levi Carpenter, Mark Kukuk, Jayme Linder, Brad Klenda, Roxann Ross, Seth Banning, Larry Smith, Brian Anderson, Derek Riggs, Jason Richmond, and Alan Overton.
