Maritta Zahorsky
Maritta Joy Zahorsky, 68, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 23, 2006.
Born June 13, 1937, at Clearwater, Neb., she was the daughter of Carl and Juanita (Crum) Miller.
She was a resident of Hutchinson since 1972, moving from Newton and living in Emporia and Cottonwood Falls prior to that.
On Sept. 14, 1957, she married Darrell Zahorsky.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Zahorsky of Hutchinson and SFC Lyle Zahorsky of Ft. Carson, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Sharon Garant of Tiverton, R.I., and Karen Jung of Inman; two brothers, Leslie Miller and Robert Miller of Cheyenne, Wyo.; sister, Merna Peterson of Lancaster, Texas; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson, with the Rev. R. Kendall Franklin officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
A memorial fund has been established with Gideons International.
