Mary Sauble

Mary Packard Palmer Sauble, 85, of Cedar Point, died Dec. 31, 2007, at Harry Hynes Hospice, Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis campus, Wichita.

Born June 15, 1922, at Kansas City, she was the daughter of Tom and Margaret (McFadden) Palmer.

She was raised in Kansas City and attended school there. She attended Kansas State University.

On Sept. 26, 1942, she married Pat Sauble at Kansas City.

She was a homemaker, assisted with operating the ranch, and had owned and operated an antique business, Mary's Antiques in Florence for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Palmer Loriaux.

Survivors include her husband, Pat of Cedar Point; son and daughter-in-law, David and Barbara Sauble of Taos, N.M.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Dennis Hague of Cedar Point and Ann and Galen Carpenter of Sedona, Ariz.; brother, Cruise Palmer of Kansas City; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at Cedar Point School with Pastor George Lespagnard officiating.

Burial was in Griffith Cemetery, south of Cedar Point.

Memorial funds have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or the Harvey House Museum at Florence.
