Mary Schiffner
Mary Schiffner, 85, of Heavener, Okla., died July 17, 2004, in Poteau, Okla.
Born June 1, 1919, in Marion County, she was a longtime resident of Heavener, Okla., and the final surviving member of Heavener Presbyterian Church.
She operated the Red Hen Café and the Pay and Take Store in Heavener.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed.
Survivors include two sons, Dwayne Schiffner of Heavener and Larry Schiffner of Fort Smith; a sister, Maxine Junker of Gualala, Calif.; two special friends, Kenya Simpson and Kathleen Kennerson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Memorial Park, Heavener, Okla.
A memorial fund has been established with the Presbyterian church in Poteau, Okla.
