Max Skinner
Max L. Skinner, 68, died June 23, 2006, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion.
Born Jan. 5, 1938, at Florence, he was the son of Garry and Virgie (Maltbie) Skinner.
He graduated from Florence High School and lived most of his life in the Florence area. He also spent time in Galveston, Texas. He had lived at Marion Manor for the past four years.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and stepfather, Walter Rogers.
Survivors include two brothers, Dean Skinner of Joplin, Mo., and John Skinner of Edmond, Okla.; two sisters, Mary Lou Phillips and Martha Dornbush, both of Marion.
Private family services have been scheduled for a later date.
Memorial funds have been established with the Union Rescue Mission or Florence Ambulance Service.
