MCAA honors Warrior wrestlers
Five Marion High School wrestlers were named to three different Mid-Central Activities Association teams this past week.
Senior John Barr III capped off a 30-11 season and two victories at the state tournament by being named to the MCAA first team at the 152-pound weight class.
Barr III became just the second Warrior wrestler to compile 30 victories in a season.
Three wrestlers, Adam Regnier, and Cody and Dillon Wildin, were named to the MCAA second-team.
The sophomore Regnier competed at 125 pounds, Cody at 119, and Dillon at 130. The freshmen Wildin twins both qualified for the state tournament.
Junior Charlie Holub earned a second straight invite to the state tournament this season, and was recognized by being named to the Honorable Mention MCAA team.
