McLinden to compete in rodeo princess contest
Lauren McLinden, 10-year-old daughter of Chuck and Lori McLinden of Marion, will compete June 2-4 in the Flint Hills Rodeo Princess contest at Strong City.
Contestants will be judged on public introduction, personal interview, horsemanship pattern, princess run, and horsemanship interview. They also will participate in the Buckaroo/Buckerette Rodeo and Flint Hills Rodeo parade.
Winners will be announced during the Saturday night rodeo.
