Messiah, Christmas festival to take place at Tabor College
With a chill in the air and smells of gingerbread and peppernuts lingering in the kitchen, the Christmas season has announced its presence. The Tabor College Christmas Festival, including a portion of Handel's Messiah, will complete the holiday experience with its strains of well-known and upbeat Christmas favorites.
The event, featuring the Tabor College Oratorio Chorus and Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Concert Choir, will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Tabor College Gymnasium.
In closing, the Symphonic Band and Oratorio Chorus will invite the congregation to join with them in singing "O Come, All Ye Faithful." The public is invited to attend.
