MHS class of 1962 celebrates 45 years years ago

Marion High School class of 1962 celebrated its 45th reunion Old Settlers' Day weekend. Festivities began with breakfast at the VFW post home.

Class members gathered for picture-taking prior to boarding the float for the annual parade. Approximately 22 classmates rode on the Clover Cliff Ranch buggy, driven by Raymond Remmers.

Classmates took part in the afternoon program at Central Park, including a few numbers by the Marion High School band and the recognition of classes.

The class and guests enjoyed a catered dinner at the home of classmate Deanna Klenda.

Norma Kline conducted a short memorial service for those class members who had died since the last reunion — Bob Rogers, Georgia (Helmer) Vogel, Mike Childs, Tim Williams, and Glen Nikkel.
