MHS drama department wins five Jesters
Marion High School was well-represented Saturday evening at the Jester Awards, presented for the fifth year by Music Theatre of Wichita at Century II.
The awards honor performances of local and area high schools.
Marion High School was nominated for 10 awards for the fall production of "The Music Man," and received the following awards:
Outstanding supporting male — Jordan Timm.
Outstanding cameo performance — Ryan Nelson.
Outstanding direction — Janet Killough.
Outstanding production number — "Shipoopi."
Outstanding orchestra.
