MHS musical better than Broadway

The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. By George, she's got it, I think she's got it." If you missed the musical, "My Fair Lady," put on by Marion High School, you missed something absolutely wonderful and very professionally produced. Just as good or better as done on Broadway in New York. Jordan Timm always will be Professor Higgins from now on.

Thanksgiving has come and gone so fast. I hope everyone had a great day. I know I did. Perfect weather, too.

Now, Christmas is just around the corner. What a wonderful season! Everyone is friendly and generous. Every organization in the world wants a contribution. We would all like to help a worthy cause. In the cities there seem to be lots of people who wouldn't have a Christmas unless others helped. Maybe small towns do too, we just don't know about it.

I remember Julia Mullen, who made hundreds of beautiful Christmas cookies and shared them. Wouldn't it be nice to be remembered in that way! Maybe if I put my mind to it, I could think of something nice I could do for others.

I would like to correct a small error in my last article. I mentioned a small country overseas, then name should be Dubai. My poor handwriting did me in.

I have a friend who wants my recipe for peach cobbler in my handwriting. I don't know why. I hope I can do it so she can read it. If she bakes it she will love it.
