MHS names students of the month
Marion High School staff have selected seniors Danielle Cope and Jason Hett as September students of the month.
Cope has been active in cross country and track, as well as band and flag corps. She is editor of the MHS yearbook, president of the MHS FFA chapter, National Honor Society president, and senior class secretary. She also has been involved with 4-H, Florence Christian Youth Group, and Bigs in School. She is the daughter of Clint and Sarah Cope of Florence, and has two brothers, Adam and Jacob.
Hett was the starting quarterback for the MHS football team until sidelined by a recent injury. A multi-sport athlete, he also is active in basketball and track. Hett is a participant in the Big Brothers in School program. He is the son of Gary and Joella Hett of Marion, and has two brothers, Jared and Jordan.
