MHS post-season sites announced
Post-season play for 2007-08 winter sports does not start until the middle of February, but the basketball sub-state and wrestling regionals have been announced by the Kansas State High School Activities Association.
Both the boys' and girls' basketball team at Marion High School will participate in the Hillsboro sub-state tournament which begins Feb. 25 and runs through March 1.
The champion from the single-elimination tournament will move on to Hutchinson for the 3A state tournament March 5-8.
The MHS wrestling squad will participate Feb. 15-16 at the Eureka regional.
Each wrestler who finishes in the top four in his or her respective weight class, qualifies for the 3-2-1A state tournament Feb. 22-23 at Hays.
