MHS Quest team to compete at Washburn
A team representing Marion High School will participate in the 2007-08 Quest academic competition Dec. 1 at Washburn University.
The contest, co-sponsored by KTWU-PBS station and Washburn, allows teams of high school students from across Kansas to compete against one another in answering questions on topics such as art, literature, history, math, and science.
Teams earning the top 16 scores advance to the final and return to Topeka several times for taping sessions.
The televised Quest competition will air from February through May on KTWU, where a champion will be named.
Those students representing Marion High School are Brett Billings, Sam Ehrlich, Landon Leiker, Derek Stuchlik, Matt Thierolf, Eric Vogel, and coach Doug Vogel.
