Mildred Nicklaus
Mildred Lucille Nicklaus, 101, died Sept. 30, 2005, at Marion.
Born March 22, 1904, she was the daughter of Ora and Bertha (Hockett) Beeton.
On Feb. 9, 1927, she married Edward Nicklaus.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Survivors include a son, Edward Nicklaus of Garden City; two daughters, Earlene Hague of Marion and Delores Haag of Topeka; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Peabody United Methodist Church, Peabody, with Pastor Phil Smith officiating.
Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
