Milton news: Senior fellowship enjoys potluck

The First Mennonite senior fellowship had a potluck supper Aug. 8 at the Burns Community Building. Attending were Pastor Arlen Busenitz, Dave and Esther Stucky, Howard and Darlene Goering, Mike and Larry Spachek, Phyllis Mitchell, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Doni Rogers, Mary Langenegger, and Joyce Kyle.

This past week has been very busy and exciting for Marvin and Sherol Nightengale. Callers were Diane Nelson, Patti and Ronnie Gaines, LaVonne Ammeter, and Maude Gaines. Mitch Foote and Brad Nightengale helped them move into their lovely, new home Saturday. Joyce Barker and Marie Clark fixed dinner for the group. We wish them well.

Mary Archer of Cottonwood Falls called on her sister and husband, Lawrence and Lois Sayers Thursday.

Lois Sayers and Sandy Sayers went to Wichita Saturday to do some shopping. Sunday dinner guests of the Sayers' were Bruce Sayers, Megan and Jessica of Cassoday.

Bob and Evonne Koehn and Kevin and Janarro Jantz, Kaylee, Shauna, and Jesse brought Sunday dinner to the home of Vernon, Florine, and Judy Koehn.

James Olberding, Evelyn Sidener, Kathleen Brenzikofer, Laverna Parrish, and Joyce Kyle attended the Senior Citizens of Marion County board meeting Friday at Lehigh.

Rose Forgy, Melissa and Ryan were Sunday dinner guests of Ron and Paula Toews and family at Hilllsboro. Other guests were Glenn and Bonnie Enz and family of Hillsboro and Bertha and Loretta Koehn of Burns.
