MMS girls split Hesston matches
Marion Middle School's A and B volleyball teams squared off against Hesston Thursday in Marion, with each school winning one match.
In the B squad contest, Marion won the first game 25-21. Hesston came back to win the second 25-22, and claimed the match win with a 25-20 victory in the third. Taylor Harms was the leading server for the Lady Wildcats.
Marion turned the tables on the visitors in the second match, falling behind with a 25-14 loss but scoring victories of 25-12 and 25-23 to win the match. The lead servers for Marion were Tristen Snelling and Ariel Depler.
The MMS teams will travel to Hillsboro Thursday. The match will tip off at 4:30.
