Naomi Fike

Naomi Mae Fike, 86, of Ramona, died Jan. 29, 2006, at Marion Manor, Marion.

Born May 11, 1919, at Ramona, she was the daughter of Solomon and Leah (Glantz) Ehrhardt.

She grew up in Ramona, attended local schools, and graduated in 1936 from Ramona High School.

On Aug. 27, 1939, she married J. Kenneth Fike at Navarre. They lived their entire married life in the Ramona area.

She was a homemaker and member of Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church, County Liners EHU, and Ramona Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; daughter, Carolyn Madden; infant son, James Edward; brother, Laurel Ehrhardt; and sister, Verna Pritz.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Fike of Lawrence and Steve Fike of Walton; daughter, Virginia Bowyer of Haysville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church, rural Hope, with the Rev. Shane Britt and the Rev. Charles Norman officiating.

Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.

Memorial funds have been established with the church or Lewis Cemetery.
