Norton Jost

Norton G. Jost, 75, died Nov. 3, 2004, at Hillsboro.

Born April 2, 1929, at Hillsboro, he was the son of George S. and Elizabeth (Schroeder) Jost.

On Sept. 3, 1950, he married Nellie Hamm in Hooker, Okla.

He was a clerk at Cooperative Grain & Supply and a member of Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Grace Jost; and two grandchildren, Shane Foth and Gary Debbrecht.

Survivors include his wife, Nellie of Hillsboro; two sons, Richard and Kelly Jost of Goessel and Russell Jost and Edy Brundage of Hillsboro; four daughters, Jolene and Don Aaron of Peoria, Ariz., Corrine Foth of Hillsboro, Carla and Tom Harmon of Durham, and Kris Jost of Wichita; four brothers, Marvin Jost and Larry Jost of Hillsboro, Lee Jost of Henderson, Neb., and Dean Jost of Aurora, Neb.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church with Pastor Dave Plett officiating.

Burial was in French Creek Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

A memorial fund has been established with Hillsboro MB Church Building Fund.
