Nunneleys to celebrate 50th anniversary years ago
John and LaDonna Nunneley of Caney will mark their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Caney Country Club and Golf Course.
John Nunneley Sr. and LaDonna Sue Hicks were married Nov. 17, 1957 at Tyro Christian Church, Tyro. He is a retired cattleman and she is a homemaker.
The couple has five children, Cindy and Frankie Biehler of Lincolnville, John and Sharon Nunneley Jr. of Independence, Jimmy and Jana Nunneley of Caney, JayDee Nunneley of Tyro, and a deceased son, Joe Nunneley. They also have 14 grandchildren.
The country club is located three miles north of Caney and one-half mile east.
