Outdoor ceremony unites Methvin, Karenke

Gretchen Methvin and David W. Karenke were married Sept. 24, 2005, during an outdoor ceremony on the banks of the Provo River in Utah.

Bishop Brad Bentley of Alpine, Utah, officiated at the 11 o'clock service.

Parents of the bride are Jack and Nancy Methvin of Lincolnville. Lee Wagley of Lincolnville is the bride's grandmother.

The groom's mother is Constance Narad of Trafalgar, Ind.

Many relatives and friends attended the ceremony.

Following the wedding, a reception, dinner, and dance was held at the Karenke residence at Exchange Park, Provo, Utah.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School and Emporia State University. She currently is employed at Kemco Industries in Lehi, Utah.

Her husband is a graduate of Stephens Heneger Technical School and is employed by CompUSA.

The couple lives in Provo, Utah.
