Police investigate break-in
At 11 p.m. Sept. 10, a Marion resident reported someone had entered his garage on Garfield Street, Marion, by breaking a lock and attempted to steal a set of speakers. The individual(s) then exited through a back door, reported Marion Police Officer James Parmley.
At 11:45 p.m. Sept 30, an individual tried to start a fight at Marion Country Club. When Officer Parmley arrived at the club, the individual had left and was across the street. Officer Parmley made contact with the individual and could smell alcohol. While talking with the officer, it was difficult for the individual to stand and fell to the ground. The individual was arrested and booked in Marion County Jail for pedestrian under the of alcohol.
