Powers graduates from Emporia State
Maggie Powers graduated May 13 with a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from Emporia State University. She graduated summa cum laude.
While at ESU, Powers was named to Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society in 2003, and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society in 2005. She was designated ESU's organic chemistry student of the year in 2004, and received the physical chemistry award for 2005.
