Ramona s got the blues — Saturday

The Night Watchmen, a Wichita blues band which has opened for "Kansas," the "Kelly Hunt Band," and "Duke Rabillard," is coming to Ramona at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Ramona City Park.

It's free and everyone is invited to bring a picnic to Ramona and hear some fantastic music!

The Night Watchmen are three experienced musicians with more than 80 years combined experience playing live and recorded music.

Clayton Crawford (aka "The Winfield Whirlwind"), singing lead, is respected around the country as one of the hottest blues and rock guitar players on the scene.

Tommy McMillan keeps the beat and has toured from east to west coasts.

Kenny Peoples plays bass and keeps the bottom end together for the band.

Kenny is the nephew of Hank and Gertie Schubert and is bringing the band to the annual Schubert family reunion in Ramona.

The Night Watchmen play primarily for special events, charity fund-raisers, outdoor concerts, and private parties.
