What did senior citizens do before all these health magazines and TV programs came about? It almost scares you into just staying "put" in your chair. If you read the Saturday Evening Post or AARP magazines, all you read is how to take care of your health. There are still some cartoons and jokes but more articles on health and long life than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I always have been a health "nut" but sometimes I think they are overdoing it. Now scientists are saying people will live to be 120. Who wants to live that long?

Education is believed to promote good health so keep learning and even get a diploma.

Good for Oprah for building a school for girls in Africa. I wish there could be one for young men, too. It seems that it would help improve the culture of those people. Isn't it wonderful when the wealthy share with others. We have an example with Bob Navrat making a large contribution to our hospital.

If you want to read a book that will really amaze you, read "Left to Tell" by Immaculee Ilibagiza and Steve Erwin. She has been on TV and has a powerful story to tell. She is a survivor of tribal wars in Rwanda, Africa.
