Random Thoughts

I have been reading articles in the paper about the proper clothing of lady teachers. There was my Spanish teacher in El Dorado High School, Miss Shelley, not only was she charismatic, but she always was attractively dressed.

Then there was Margaret Miller, my home ec teacher in Marion High School. Now she was a neat gal, clothing and otherwise. She dated a Marion businessman, who she eventually married. She treated me as an equal. No wonder I was attracted to her. In fact, we double dated a few times. She is the one who said she wished you could have two husbands, one with money and one for love.

Evidently some of the teachers in Wichita dress pretty casually. I think slacks or blue jeans, with a blouse or sweater or jacket would be OK. It was even suggested that they wear uniforms like nurses or the military. I'll be they wouldn't like that.

I haven't flown on a plane for awhile. Do the attendants still wear attractive uniforms? I need to do some research in the matter.

How do you like our old-fashioned winter? Takes me back to long underwear, long black stockings, and buckled overshoes. I think I could take a little global warming right now. Spring looks far away.

I would like to correct a mistake in my last article. My sister was supposed to kiss a roasted pig, not dress it at that fraternity party.
