Random Thoughts

I'm a romantic. I know you have suspected that. I read about a romance in the newspaper. Picture this: There is a man, who will die within six months if he doesn't get a heart transplant. There is another man, only 33 years old who is dying. His wife donates his heart. The first man receives this heart. He gains back his health and is so thankful he wants to thank the family of the donor. Through the procurement agency he gets in touch with the widow. They meet, fall in love, and marry. So the heart that beat in the breast of the first man now beats in the breast of the second man. Isn't that romantic? All for the same woman.

This might not be considered as romantic but I felt so sad. When a young giraffe in the Garden City zoo got his head caught in the holding stall he broke his neck. He stuck out his long neck and look what happened.

Right now, I'm reading a book, "Out of the Garden," by women writers. They have different ideas about those Bible characters.

Do you ever stop to think about what Christmas means to you? As the years pass I think we change our values and our thoughts about this important season. So much controversy. Now we need to take a stand.
