Random Thoughts: Life is a fabric

Well, the big "C" has hit our family. Lavonne's sister, Janet's doctor gave her the final verdict and in four short weeks she was gone. She was a happy, attractive, charming woman, and will be greatly missed.

Life is a fabric of many strands woven together in harmony and beauty and when one thread is broken, a space is left forever after.

I am now reading the autobiography of Billy Graham. The more I read of his life, the more I realize what a powerful man he is. He has had connections with every president, ruler, monarch, even the Pope, and every famous political leader. He has had crusades in practically every country in the world. His name may never be in any history book but he has used his strength behind the scenes. His story is very interesting as he tells of his experiences.

I can imagine the thrill it would be to have your senior picture taken with a real live tiger but it sure isn't safe.

Isn't there a fable about a lady being condemned to choose a certain door out of three. Maybe behind one was freedom, and one, I don't remember but behind the third was a tiger! Do you remember which one she chose?

If you want to see some beautiful stuffed animals, including tigers, go visit the museum at Rolling Hills Zoo near Salina.
