Raymond Bain
Raymond Forest Bain, 96, died Nov. 11, 2006, at Wheat State Manor, Whitewater.
Born Oct. 16, 1910, at Florence, he was the son of Benton and Clara May (Gibson) Bain.
He was an electrician and plumber.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald Bain of Benton and Roger Bain of Emmett, Idaho; two daughters, Norma Jean Sauer of Herington and Judith Webb of Wichita; a sister, Doris Poland of Roseberg, Ore.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody, with Pastor James Pohlman officiating.
Burial was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
Memorial funds have been established with Hospice of Kansas, Peabody Christian Church, or Wheat State Manor, Whitewater.
