Record columnists make the big time
Two Marion County Record columnists received favorable statewide publicity Sunday in the metro-media.
The Salina Journal published a story on 102-year-old columnist Norma Hannaford on the front page of the Life section.
The writer captured Hannaford's personality, which glistens like a gemstone.
Former columnist Dr. Jim Hoy, who wrote a column in the Record for decades, was featured in a review of his latest book "Flint Hills Cowboys," in the Books section of the Wichita Eagle.
