Regina Prothman
Regina (Richmond) Prothman of Breckinridge, Mo., died Nov. 4, 2007.
She was the fourth child of Frank and Nellie Richmond, raised on a rural farm in Marion County.
She graduated from Florence High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Kansas City. She was a registered nurse, retiring in 1997.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Gettinger.
Survivors include her husband, Ed of Breckinridge, Mo.; daughter, Cindy Hubbard of Breckinridge, Mo.; two sons, William Prothman of Kansas City, Mo., and James Prothman of Mount Gilead, Ohio; brother, Richard Richmond of Valrico, Fla.; two sisters, Eleanor Silhan of Salina and Loretta (Tootsie) Snelling of Cedar Point; and three grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hamilton, Mo., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
A memorial has been established with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
