Richard Wilson
Richard L. Wilson, 44, died July 28, 2006, at his home in Madison.
Born Aug. 3, 1961, at Albuquerque, N.M., he was the son of John Ramer and Carol Ann (Barrett) Wilson.
He lived most of his life in Chase County.
On Sept. 9, 1989, he married Donna Rhodes at Cottonwood Falls. They later divorced.
He worked for Koss Construction for 12 years and currently was employed in the equipment maintenance department at Tyson Fresh Meats in Emporia.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include two children, Chelsea and Jacob Wilson, and their mother, Donna Wilson of Cottonwood Falls; his mother, Carol Wilson of Cottonwood Falls; two brothers, Bill Wilson of Cottonwood Falls and Jesse Wilson of Emporia.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at Brown-Bennett-Alexander Chapel with Susan Alexander as celebrant.
Inurnment was at Prairie Grove Cemetery, rural Cottonwood Falls.
A Richard L. Wilson Memorial Fund has been established at Exchange National Bank, Cottonwood Falls.
